Job Overview

Certification Qualification Engineer for the H160 Program at Airbus Helicopters Marignane site. The role focuses on ensuring airworthiness through certification, qualification, and initial airworthiness activities for the H160 helicopter. You will be part of the Airworthiness Office and support the Chief Airworthiness Engineer (CAE) Team.

Responsibilities

• Lead certification and qualification activities to meet development and delivery milestones for new and retrofit H160 programs.
• Negotiate with Airworthiness Authorities on certification basis, strategy, and compliance demonstrations.
• Coordinate creation and delivery of compliance demonstrations according to project milestones.
• Validate demonstrations of compliance and harmonize with authorities.
• Produce certification and qualification synthesis documents.
• Approve design changes under Design Authority (DOA) privileges.
• Validate repairs, directives, service bulletins, and flight clearances.
• Influence and contribute to harmonization of future certifications and qualification basis for H160 evolutions.
• Define and harmonize certification and qualification plans, including means of compliance.
• Manage transversal teams and act as signatory within the design assurance system.
• Promote roles and responsibilities and associated processes within Airbus Helicopters and to authorities.

Qualifications

• 5‑year degree level (or equivalent) in Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years overall experience in a design office, ideally in certification.
• Advanced level of French and English.
