Area Manager - APAC

Role Overview:
The Area Manager will be responsible for the APAC market. The position will be based in Paris and will report into the EMEA Sales Manager. The focus will be to drive the business forward with current customers and recruiting new customers. We are looking for someone who is passionate and is really driven by targets.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all day-to-day communication with existing accounts, including but not limited to: weekly selling recaps, reorder discussion, marketing opportunities
- Business development, strategy and execution across existing and untapped markets
- Sales forecasting and tracking alongside the senior management team, with the ability to meet and exceed sales targets
- Manage agencies alongside the Sales Manager, including key account and independent account management
- Manage 4 sales seasons per year via showroom appointments, digital appointments and travel to markets when this is required – travel will be required
- Oversee and collaborate with various departments across all stages of bringing seasonal collections to market
- Monitor the competitive landscape, following market and product trends as an expert in the contemporary space
- Regular product and performance feedback to design and merchandising teams
- Collaborate with in-house PR and customers on all initiatives to drive sales
Skills & Qualifications:
- Must have 4+ years of contemporary wholesale experience
- Knowledge of the APAC market
- Targets orientated, highly motivated, organized
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office – Excel, PowerPoint, etc. reporting and analysis skills
- Experience with platforms such as Joor
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Exceptional time management skills
- Ability to set a priority list and deliver against simultaneous deadlines
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods during meetings, showroom appointments, or travel.
- Comfortable using a computer and participating in virtual meetings for prolonged periods.
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally, including long-haul flights and extended trips when required.
- Ability to lift and carry product samples or materials up to approximately 10–12 kg.
- Comfortable being on your feet during market appointments, trade shows, or events.
- Strong verbal communication and visual focus required for presentations, digital meetings, and reviewing product or sales materials.
