Apprenticeship - 2 years - Developer/Test & Refactoring Market Data/IA F/H

You join our IT Market Data team who are looking for a Developer Test & Refactoring Market Data/IA, for a 2-year apprenticeship from September 2026 .

The IT Market Data department is in charge of developing, maintaining and modernising critical applications for managing and disseminating market data for Natixis and the BPCE group.

During this apprenticeship you will receive concrete, highly impactful experience on a central banking data application, with close supervision by the IT team. You will develop highly sought-after skills in software quality, testing, refactoring, CI/CD, security and applied AI in development, and will use modern tools to increase productivity in a flexible, results‑oriented environment.

In collaboration with your tutor, your main tasks will be:

  • Contribute to the modernisation of a critical C# application by strengthening software quality through robust test implementation, existing code analysis and refactoring.
  • Consolidate unit and integration tests: analyse existing code, identify risk areas, write clear and sustainable tests, cover critical business‑case scenarios and integrate these tests into the CI/CD pipeline.
  • Participate in code analysis and refactoring: map modules and dependencies, propose and implement structural improvements (modularisation, decoupling, readability), reduce technical debt and improve code coverage, while ensuring traceability via SonarQube reports.
  • Explore and deploy AI solutions to automate test generation and boilerplate code, design scripts and tools (mocks, stubs, fixtures) and evaluate productivity and quality gains.
  • Contribute to quality and security controls: use SonarQube for code quality, Checkmarx for security scans, track remediation and propose process improvements.
  • Work in an agile mode within the Market Data team, participate in ceremonies (daily meetings, code reviews, demonstrations) and communicate clearly on results, technical choices and risks.

The expected results of your mission will include measurable improvement in code coverage and reduction in technical debt, integration and monitoring of SonarQube reports (coverage, quality), and monitoring and remediation of vulnerabilities identified via Checkmarx. You will also be required to design prototypes of automation tools that rely on AI to generate code or tests. The key deliverables are a robust test suite, code analysis reports, a structured refactoring plan and demonstrations of the developed AI tools.

Throughout your apprenticeship you benefit from a competitive salary calculated according to your training and level of education, reimbursement of your transport ticket (up to 60 %), paid leave, access to the company’s restaurant and health and welfare coverage. You will also benefit from profit‑sharing and/or participation in proportion to your attendance time, and have access to the works council.
