Job Description

You join our Transformation & Innovation team from the General Secretariat Natixis, who is looking for a Data Scientist – AI generative & Machine Learning for a 2-year apprenticeship at starting from September 2026.

The team designs and deploys artificial intelligence solutions with high business impact, particularly around generative AI, advanced machine learning, and experimenting with new uses.

In collaboration with your tutor, your main tasks will be:

• Contribute to the design, training and evaluation of machine learning models used by the detection tools of the General Secretariat (supervised and unsupervised models).
• Participate in the development of concrete Generative AI use cases (smart assistants, recommendation engines, advanced automation, semantic analysis, etc.).
• Experiment and compare different approaches, architectures or AI frameworks (prompt engineering, fine-tuning, RAG, open-source models...).
• Integrate the models into prototypes or application solutions in connection with the technical teams.
• Contribute to technology watch and knowledge sharing around AI and machine learning.

Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience

Student at the Bac +5 level, you are preparing a university degree, from a business school or an engineering degree with a specialization in artificial intelligence, data science, computer science or applied mathematics, and you are looking for an apprenticeship oriented AI Gen and machine learning.

• Solid foundations in machine learning and applied statistics.
• Marked interest in generative AI, LLMs, prompt engineering, and new AI architectures.
• Perfectly fluent in English.
