Job Description
You will be joining our Industry Group Transport & Environment team within the Advisory & Coveragedivision of the Corporate and Investment Bank, which is seeking an Assistant Group Transport & Environment for a 1-year work-study program starting in September 2026.
The Industry Group Transport & Environment possesses strong expertise in the air transport sectors (airports and airlines), roads, ports, logistics, rail sector, water and waste treatment, energy services (including district heating), etc. The team contributes to the development of investment banking, advisory/M&A, and structured finance activities in these various sectors.
The Industry Group's mission is to maintain strategic dialogue with Natixis' key clients and prospects to generate opportunities in investment banking, advisory/M&A, and structured finance in coordination with product teams (Acquisition Finance, Infra Finance, DCM, ECM, Global Markets, etc.); define the bank's strategy in the Transport & Environment sectors; participate in the execution of advisory mandates, financing, and other products; and serve as an expertise center providing sector opinions when necessary.
As a work-study student, you will work within a multicultural team based in Paris, New York, and Hong Kong.
In collaboration with your mentor, your main responsibilities will be:
- Researching information and participating in sector studies;
- Preparing commercial presentations for clients (pitches, profiles, sector studies, valuation elements, etc.), within the team and in collaboration with other business lines of the bank;
- Market intelligence and updating sector valuation benchmarks;
- Monitoring execution with product teams and relationships with clients and prospects;
- Financial analysis of companies.
This work-study program will allow you to gain a good understanding of the bank's products as well as the issues related to the Transport and Environment sectors.

Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience
Student at BAC +5 level (Master's degree level), you are pursuing a degree (university, business school, or engineering school) with a specialization in finance. You are interested in the transport and environment sectors. You have a good understanding of financial statements, credit analysis, and accounting principles. You are capable of managing multiple tasks to meet client deadlines and are reliable and organized. You have mastered PowerPoint, Excel, and Word. And last but not least, you are perfectly fluent in English.
