As the Strategic Account Manager – EMEA Transparencies , you will manage OEM and aftermarket customers across the Europe, Middle East and Africa region, ensuring alignment, performance, and long‑term growth. You will build strong partnerships, identify emerging opportunities, and collaborate across PPG’s global organization to deliver value. This position requires a strategic mindset, a strong customer orientation, and deep familiarity with aerospace transparencies.

This role is preferrably based in Toulouse area, potentially in Paris area, requires willingness to travel up to 50–75% domestically and internationally. This role will report to the Global Business Director, Commercial Transparencies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute EMEA OEM and aftermarket account strategies aligned with global business objectives, including pricing, growth initiatives, and opportunity pipeline management.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for strategic OEM and aftermarket transparency accounts in the EMEA region, ensuring exceptional service, responsiveness, and value delivery.
  • Identify and pursue the right OEM and aftermarket growth opportunities, including spares, repairs, service agreements, and new product adoption.
  • Manage contract renewals, negotiations, and commercial discussions in partnership with internal teams.

Customer Engagement & Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with key OEM and aftermarket customers, distributors, and MROs.
  • Lead customer reviews, business performance meetings, and joint improvement plans.
  • Support engagement activities such as trade shows, industry events, training workshops, and technical seminars.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with global and regional supply chain, engineering, product development, operations, and finance to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Coordinate with customer service and demand planning teams to ensure accurate forecasting and delivery performance.
  • Work closely with quality and technical teams to resolve issues, support product investigations, and drive continuous improvement.

Business Performance & Market Insights

  • Drive performance to KPIs including revenue, margin, volume, customer satisfaction, and service metrics.
  • Maintain accurate forecasts, budgets, and sales plans for all assigned aftermarket accounts.
  • Monitor global aftermarket trends, competitive landscape, regulatory updates, and customer fleet dynamics.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, aviation or other related discipline and/or equivalent industry experience. Aerospace specific industry experience strongly preferred.
  • 5 or more years of demonstrated successful experience in a customer‑facing or account management role.
  • 3 or more years of experience in global account management or aftermarket/aviation customer engagement.
  • Ability to travel domestically and Internationally as needed to support global customers.
  • Fluency in French and English is a must have. Operationnal Italian would be appreciated.
  • Demonstrated negotiation skills and contract management experience.
  • Strong analytical understanding of sales, financial, and operational metrics.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and MRP/ERP environments.
  • Ability to manage complex priorities in a fast‑paced, global environment.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal influence skills.

The base salary range for this position is 80-90€ base salary + 15% Bonus annually.
