Global Account Executive
The Global Account Executive is the executive leader assigned to one or more strategic Aerospace & Defense customers. The GAE drives the overall customer engagement and is accountable for accelerating business transformation, innovation, cloud adoption, sovereign cloud initiatives, services growth, and end-to-end customer satisfaction throughout the customer lifecycle.
Your Path to Success
- You will take ownership of an assigned Aerospace & Defense territory, focused on strategic growth, digital transformation, cloud adoption, and sovereign cloud opportunities.
- You will develop and execute account strategies aligned with customer business objectives, industry priorities, security requirements, compliance requirements, and sovereignty considerations.
- Through your customer strategy, you will inspire and orchestrate multidisciplinary account teams to deliver measurable business outcomes.
- You will perform account planning for assigned customers, coordinating with pre‑sales, industry experts, cloud specialists, sovereign cloud teams, services, and partners to ensure strategic alignment.
- You will support SAP's strategy by implementing value‑based selling throughout the sales cycle, from opportunity identification and solution design through negotiation, closing, adoption, and customer success.
- You will position SAP’s cloud portfolio, including sovereign cloud capabilities, as a key enabler of secure digital transformation for Aerospace & Defense organizations.
- You will continuously generate pipeline through executive engagement, industry events, ecosystem partnerships, joint marketing initiatives, and strategic channel partners.

- You can successfully manage complex sales cycles by orchestrating internal teams across pre‑sales, value advisory, cloud specialists, sovereign cloud experts, services, marketing, and executive leadership.
- You are comfortable engaging C‑level executives and senior business and technology leaders to define long‑term transformation roadmaps.
- You have successfully led large‑scale transformation programs involving cloud, business applications, and mission‑critical environments.
- You thrive in a consultative and highly competitive market environment.
- You know how to manage and forecast your business at quarterly and annual levels while delivering sustainable growth.
Qualifications / Skills
- 10+ years of business experience in Sales or Consulting with complex enterprise software, cloud, or IT solutions.
- 5+ years of Aerospace & Defense industry expertise.
- 5+ years of Large Account Management experience leading complex account teams.
- Strong knowledge of SAP solutions, cloud offerings, and business transformation programs.
- Experience with sovereign cloud, security, compliance, or mission‑critical environments.
- Experience selling into Aerospace & Defense accounts, with a strong understanding of large‑scale business transformation and cloud adoption programs.
- Proven ability to develop long‑term account strategies involving technology, services, partners, and executive stakeholders.
- Exceptional communication and executive presentation skills in both English and French.
