Description of Work
This position supports the program staff at the Fayetteville Regional Office and provides required support to various divisions, including Air Quality, Energy, Mineral and Land Resources, Environmental Assistance and Customer Service, Waste Management, Water Resources, and Information Technology Services as needed. The role adapts to changing environmental laws, statutes, policies, and procedures that affect permitting and related processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing positive customer service interaction with internal and external customers.
- Processing critical and time‑sensitive correspondence, invoices, contract payments, and fiscal documents, and compiling reports for program staff and management.
- Providing extensive operational, logistical, inventory, and administrative support to the Fayetteville Regional Office.
- Offering team back‑up and administrative coverage at the front desk and for other divisions and programs within the office.
Hybrid Telework
This position currently qualifies for a hybrid telework option with routine office and remote workdays. Telework options are subject to change at the discretion of management.
Recruitment Range
$31,200.00 - $36,000.00
Minimum Education and Experience
High school or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and one year of administrative experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
