Job Description

You are joining our team, which is looking for a Management Controller Assistant , for an alternation of 1 or 2 years from September 2026 .

Natixis Investment Managers’ Group Financial Department, a group with a strong international presence, is looking for an Assistant Controller on a work‑study basis for the start of the new academic year in September.

As a Management Control Assistant, your mission will be to carry out reporting that allows for the monitoring of activity and to participate in the production of reports within the framework of forecasts. Your role will also include the control and analysis of monthly results and budget variances, the production of ad‑hoc activity reporting, and regulatory reporting. You will report to the Finance Manager of the Private Equity business.

In collaboration with your tutor, your main tasks will be:

• Update templates and produce monthly reports to ensure relevant monitoring of activity (P&L, pipeline, and risks).
• Collaborate with private equity affiliates in the context of analyses and research/reporting.
• Ensure rigorous monitoring of results, control data and results, and calculate discrepancies between achievements and forecasts (budget and forecast).
• Provide relevant financial analyses to inform on the activity and its forecast variances.
• Produce regular regulatory reporting and ad‑hoc activity reporting & analysis as needed.
• Collaborate with NIM Holding Finance & affiliates teams (France/Europe/Asia/USA) for ad‑hoc reporting needs.
• Propose new improvements to management reporting.
• Participate in ongoing transversal projects (IT) aimed at the continuous improvement of production resources (if necessary).

As part of this Group Finance support function, you will be in contact with numerous colleagues from various departments such as finance, legal and compliance within the asset management/private equity division located across Europe, North America, and Asia.

Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience

As a BAC +4 student, you are preparing a degree (university, business school or engineering school) specializing in Finance or Management Control. You have a good command of Excel, are curious, rigorous, have an appetite for numbers and a sense of results, and possess strong analytical and summarising skills, as well as good writing ability.

You are organized, respectful of rules, processes, and deadlines, have interpersonal skills and a taste for teamwork, and are perfectly fluent in English.
