Warehouse & Line-haul Manager -Lyon

Responsibilities

1. Integrated Operations Management: Responsible for the integrated warehouse and line-haul operations at the Southern France sorting center, ensuring the stability of the entire process from arrival, unloading, sorting, consolidating, temporary storage, outbound, loading, to arrival at destination nodes.

2. Warehouse Field Management: Manage onsite warehouse operations, including sorting, consolidation management, temporary storage area management, outbound loading, exception handling, and 5S onsite management.

3. Line-haul Operations: Manage line-haul transport, including vehicle scheduling, carrier coordination, on-time departures, arrival tracking, and en-route exception management.

4. KPI Management: Establish and track core warehouse and line-haul KPIs, including outbound on-time rate, departure on-time rate, arrival on-time rate, mis-sorting rate, missed scan rate, load factor, exception closure rate, and labor efficiency.

5. Team Management: Lead onsite teams, including supervisors, team leaders, and frontline staff, covering scheduling, training, performance tracking, and onsite discipline management.

6. Carrier Management: Manage daily carrier operations, driving vehicle punctuality, vehicle type matching, route execution, exception response, and service quality improvement.

7. Standardization & Safety: Promote safety compliance, SOPs, 5S, equipment inspections, and the execution of field standardization.

8. Reporting & Analysis: Generate daily/weekly operational reports and leverage data to drive improvements in timeliness, quality, efficiency, and cost.

9. Cross-functional Collaboration: Coordinate with the HUB, DSP stations, transport carriers, customer service, IT, finance, HR, and other departments to ensure timely resolution of operational issues.

10. Business Support: Support business transitions, peak season operations, process optimization, and the improvement of automated equipment operations.

Requirements

1. Experience in logistics, express delivery, e-commerce warehousing, sorting centers, or transport operations management.

2. Familiarity with warehouse operational workflows and line-haul transport processes.

3. Proven experience in onsite team management, capable of leading supervisors, team leaders, and frontline employees.

4. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-departmental communication skills.

5. Strong awareness of safety, cost control, and standardized management.

6. Ability to adapt to the fast-paced nature of logistics field operations, including peak seasons, shift work, or night shift support.

7. Languages: French must be the working language; basic communication skills in English or Chinese are required.
