About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Wafer Process Engineer to join our R&D team, focusing on the development and optimization of III‑V semiconductor processes for InP and GaAs‑based laser diodes. This is a hands‑on role at the intersection of process development, manufacturing, and supplier collaboration, with direct impact on device performance, yield, and scalability.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize wafer fabrication processes for III‑V laser diodes (InP, GaAs)
- Improve process yield, performance, and cost efficiency
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (engineering, reliability) to assess process impact on device performance and lifetime
- Support technology transfer from R&D to production
- Work closely with external foundries: evaluate and qualify manufacturing partners; implement and scale processes in outsourced environments; monitor performance and drive continuous improvement; contribute to process documentation and standardization
Your Profile
