Context
The IT team maintains and develops the Smart Derivatives platform EQD, a web platform that enables market participants to structure, price, and book financial products ranging from flow derivatives to cross‑asset structured products.
- Core architecture is micro‑services based on a CQRS framework with event sourcing.
- Legacy 3‑tier applications are progressively migrated to micro‑services.
- The platform continues to evolve with new features and products for users and clients.
Role Overview
The role involves implementing user interfaces (GUI), APIs, workflows, and micro‑services required to integrate new activities, products, and connections into the internally developed platform in a dynamic, multi‑tasking environment.
Responsibilities
- Work on the structured and flow product processing chain, including quote entry, pricing, regulation, documentation, booking, post‑trade initiation, execution, and confirmation.
- Participate in third‑level support requests, gaining deep understanding of the business and building close relationships with market operators; first‑level support handled by a dedicated team.
- Engage in community technical sessions led by the technical guild to ensure technology choices remain coherent, as well as functional sessions covering cross‑functional platform features.
Qualifications
- Engineering degree or equivalent, with a minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role.
- Relevant experience within a banking finance & investment or asset‑management institution.
- First‑hand experience on the front‑office side or on a project aimed at the front‑office.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Java 21, Angular 17.
