VDI Solutions & Product Service Delivery Group Manager
Overview
We are seeking an experienced VDI Solutions & Product Service Delivery Group Manager to join our teams, at the heart of innovation for a prestigious manufacturing aerospace client in Toulouse, France. This is a high-visibility role driving critical IT services in a dynamic, world-class environment.
Responsibilities
- Stakeholder Coordination
- Act as the service owner between technical teams, vendors, and customer to align VDI services and solutions. Demonstrating leadership, with the ability to take independent action and decisions.
- Infrastructure Management
- Performance Monitoring and Optimization
- Compliance and Security Oversight
- Project Planning and Execution
Job Requirements
- IT Diploma and 12+ years of experience in similar roles
- Expertise in VDI Technologies
Proficiency in platforms like VMware Horizon, Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), and VRO/Ansible.
- Infrastructure Knowledge
Strong understanding of networking, storage, virtualization (e.g., VMware vSphere, Hyper-V), Active Directory, and DNS/DHCP services.
- Security and Compliance
Familiarity with endpoint security, access controls, multi-factor authentication (MFA), and compliance standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, or ISO 27001.
- Scripting and Automation Skills
Experience with VRO/Ansible or other scripting languages for automating VDI deployment, monitoring, and maintenance tasks.
- Monitoring and Troubleshooting Tools
Hands-on experience with tools like ControlUp, VMware vRealize, or Microsoft Endpoint Manager for performance optimization.
- Proven experience working with and managing multicultural, geographically distributed teams; ability to foster collaboration across diverse cultural contexts
- Exceptional analytical and organizational skills, with a strong ability to manage complex projects and drive data-informed decisions
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including stakeholder management, conflict resolution, and team motivation
- Fluency in both French and English is mandatory to communicate effectively with colleagues and partners, both verbally and in writing.
