The primary objective of the role is to provide technical account ownership as the product/solution expert and interface for the prospect or customer. The role combines presales and solution consulting activities with some post-sales responsibilities, working with the Sales Account Manager and Head of BU as part of a high-performance sales and account management team.

Job Description

For each opportunity handled directly, the candidate will manage all technical aspects of the account through the entire presales phase:

Pre-sales support:

  • Support the sales cycle from a technical perspective in collaboration with the sales person.
  • Adapt or create customer-facing materials for various presales stages, including presentations, technical notes, and deployment architectures.
  • Conduct product demos and meet customers and prospects as needed.

Ongoing project management:

  • Lead the creation of solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Demonstrate the business and operational value of solutions, engaging stakeholders at all levels.

Product development:

  • Deeply understand customer or prospect businesses to identify opportunities for product upgrades.
  • Drive the roadmap development for the International Development Division.

After-sales support:

  • Ensure smooth transition to post-sales, including SOW preparation and coordination with delivery teams.

Key Success Metrics

Performance will be measured by:

  • Order win rate and quota achievement.
  • Customer/partner satisfaction metrics.
  • Discovery of new leads and opportunities via consultative techniques.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or higher in Engineering.
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience, including 2+ in presales/project management, preferably with distributed virtual teams.
  • Experience in public transport is a plus.
  • Proactive, strong communicator with excellent verbal and written skills.
