Transfer Machine Tooling Technician
• Tooling Setup: o Interpretation of technical drawings and production specifications.o Assembly and disassembly of tools, clamping devices, and other machine components.o Adjustment of machine settings to ensure product accuracy and quality.o Verification of proper machine functionality before starting production.
• Maintenance: o Execution of routine and extraordinary maintenance of the machine, including lubrication, cleaning, and replacement of worn components.o Diagnosis and troubleshooting of technical issues, both mechanical and electrical.o Collaboration with specialized maintenance technicians for more complex interventions.
• Process Optimization: o Monitoring the production process to identify inefficiencies or quality issues.o Proposing and implementing improvements to optimize cycle times, reduce waste, and increase productivity.o Working with production engineers to fine-tune new processes and develop new products.
• Safety: o Compliance with occupational safety regulations and use of personal protective equipment.o Verification of machine and safety device conditions.o Reporting any anomalies or hazards.
Required Skills:
• Knowledge of Transfer-type machine tools and their components.• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and production specifications.• Proficiency in the use of measurement and inspection tools.• Understanding of mechanical and pneumatic principles.• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical problems.• Manual dexterity and precision.• Teamwork skills.• Knowledge of workplace safety regulations.
Education:
• A technical high school diploma (e.g., mechanics, mechatronics) is preferred.• Specific vocational training in Transfer-type machine tools.• Preferably hands-on experience in the field.
