Trainee – Asset Management / Compliance Investment Funds

Global Funds Management S.A. (“GFM”) is part of Nomura Group and a subsidiary of Nomura Bank (Luxembourg) S.A. GFM acts as a Management Company and Alternative Investment Fund Manager (AIFM) and manages investment funds (UCITS and AIF) investing in a wide range of strategies and asset classes, including equities, fixed income, hedge funds and funds of private equity funds. In order to support our team with the day‑to‑day management activities, we are looking for a trainee with a school/university convention for a period of 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Support the team in day‑to‑day operations (e.g. preparing fund dividends approval, gathering market data and conducting daily controls).
• Support the AML/KYC processes and other compliance‑related controls.
• Assist in the creation and review of risk management reports, performance reports and ad‑hoc reports.
• Review and assist in updating investment fund procedures as well as the fund operations manual/guidelines.
• Document macros and tools.
• Participate in meetings.

Qualifications

• Studying Finance or Legal at Master level with a school/university convention required.
• Knowledge in asset management, compliance and investment funds is considered an advantage.
• Excellent command of MS Office.
• Good level in English.
• Team player with enthusiasm.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
