Territory Sales Manager
Summary
I'm working with a leading scientific equipment provider to recruit a Technical Sales Specialist responsible for driving growth across Central France. This role focuses on promoting laboratory instruments and associated services to both new prospects and an established customer base. It's an excellent opportunity for someone with strong sales ability and a solid understanding of hospital or private laboratory environments.
Responsibilities
- Develop new business across the territory and promote products through visits, presentations, and trials.
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers.
- Manage complex sales involving multiple product lines.
- Understand the regional landscape, customer needs, and competitive environment.
- Propose new commercial approaches and contribute ideas to improve sales performance.
- Ensure solutions are used effectively by customers.
- Support the delivery of territory revenue targets and strategic plans.
- Keep CRM data up to date (opportunities, contacts, quotes, contracts).
- Contribute to strategic account plans in line with key-account direction.
- Attend and support regional and national customer events, including trade shows.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a scientific discipline.
- Proven sales experience with laboratory instruments and reagents in hospital or private lab settings.
- Strong understanding of the healthcare and laboratory environment; knowledge of microbiology or molecular biology is a plus.
- Existing familiarity with regional customer networks is highly beneficial.
- Skilled in sales, negotiation, communication, and strategic thinking.
- Professional proficiency in English.
- Willingness to travel throughout the Central France region.
