At GCI, we solve the hard problems. As a Cyber Technical Analyst, a typical day will include the following duties:
Duties and Responsibilities
- Self-sufficient and able to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
- Exercise operational judgement.
- Assimilate and evaluate large amounts of data from areas such as source traces, technical operations, SIGINT, HUMINT, IMINT.
- Write and brief effectively within cables and present technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Use a range of technical operation tools and databases, including those used for intelligence gathering, targeting, collection, and analysis, to identify leads, analyze data, and support technical operations.
- Knowledge of network and operations; ability to conduct technical targeting on new targets and expand existing target development.
- Take initiative and own assigned projects, expanding and shaping proposals.
- Drive requirements and manage ongoing efforts in coordination with the mission partner.
- Identify and extract pertinent information and conduct research to inform development of innovative techniques for handling information.
- Leverage available resources to support network access and exploitation efforts, optimizing tool use and information.
- Assist the customer collection mechanisms through collaboration.
Qualifications
Education
- 11+ years of experience.
Experience
- 11 years: Demonstrated work related experience.
Preferred
- BA/BS or better.
