The Technical Supervisor is critical to the success of the department as it develops and builds relationships with customers and internal colleagues alike. The Technical Supervisor will:

• provide technical support and field assistance to Structure Works installation and service engineers, ensuring projects are being installed correctly, to company standards and to the highest industry standards possible.
• commission, test and handover projects to the client and client’s representatives, encompassing all steps from the beginning of the project to the successful completion.
• provide technical and IT assistance with the company internal systems, (IT, Security, Intruder, CCTV) and servers when necessary.

Job Responsibilities

• Coordinate, Commission, Test & Troubleshoot projects throughout France.
• Manage all server deployments and all programming activities.
• Inspects cable installation, device installation, head-end build out, system final termination, programming, and testing of systems.
• Communicate with PM and internal staff regarding engineering tasks and follow up action items.
• Contribute to the technical design/design assurance and delivery of new complex, global projects.
• Ensure all projects that are delivered have undergone a detailed technical review and a validated Commissioning process.
• Service and maintenance support – assisting field engineers, LSPs and clients resolving technical problems, commissioning/programming.
• Manage, supervise, and organize existing junior Engineers; mentor, train and develop their skillset.
• Co-ordinating with the clients IT, Security, Health & Safety and facility management teams, to ensure a high level of client cooperation.
• Providing remote support to customers, colleagues, and subcontractors.
• Travel to sites to meet clients and build relationships.

Job Requirements

• Field experience of commissioning medium to large size enterprise level access control systems and enterprise level CCTV systems.
• Substantial experience working in the Electronic Security System industry.
• A good understanding of networks, switches, firewalls and the likes is ESSENTIAL.
• Wide range of customer base (datacentres, office buildings, warehousing, etc.)
• Exposure to enterprise level access control systems to at least a basic qualification on Lenel, S2, CCure, Openpath, Feenics, AMAG, ProWatch, Genetec.
• Exposure to enterprise level CCTV and Video Management Systems to at least a basic qualification on Milestone, Genetec, Avigilon.
• Exceptional telephone and customer service skills.
• Ability to focus in a high pressure and demanding environment.

The work is based and not limited to Ile-de-France office location, which is a typical office environment. There is no exact detail as we must flex the work location based on the needs of the business, but it is expected that the candidate will be present in the office for 20% of their working time, with the balance being at various customer premises and / or on site. It is expected that due to the breadth of the customers and locations, a fair amount of time will be spent overseas and travelling.
