Technical Superintendent

Consortio is proud to be partnering with a leading shipowner to recruit a Technical Superintendent for their Monaco office. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a permanent, shore‑based position managing a fleet of geared supramax bulk carriers, with full support to relocate and build your long‑term future in one of Europe’s most sought‑after maritime locations.

Reporting directly to the Fleet Manager, you’ll take ownership of four bulk vessels and be responsible for their safe, compliant, and cost‑effective technical performance. This includes planning maintenance, overseeing dry dockings, managing budgets, and providing hands‑on support to crews onboard—who are primarily Eastern European and Filipino. You’ll work closely with experienced colleagues in a professional and collaborative environment that values initiative and leadership.

To be considered for this role you must meet the following requirements:

• Either: TSI experience with a 2nd Engineer background in bulk, or sailing currently as a Chief Engineer on geared supramax bulkers
• Right to live and work in the EU
• Willingness to relocate (company based in Monaco; most staff live in France)
• Fluent English speaker
• Strong leadership and communication skills
