Technical Sales Manager
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Technical-Sales Manager at HelioRec.
The Technical-Sales Specialist will be responsible for supporting business development activities for floating solar projects, from lead generation to proposal submission. This includes conducting outreach to potential clients, preparing technical and commercial proposals, and managing the sales pipeline.
The role requires proactive engagement with the market, including conducting calls and email outreach to potential clients (IPPs, utilities, bureaux d’études, municipalities), preparing and delivering sales presentations, and representing HelioRec at industry exhibitions and events.
The Technical-Sales Manager will be responsible for writing and coordinating tender documentation, ensuring alignment between technical and commercial requirements, and supporting the preparation of competitive bids.
The candidate is expected to have an existing network and own database of relevant stakeholders, including IPPs, utilities, bureaux d’études, and municipalities.
While the role is primarily based in Paris, there is flexibility for some remote work.
CDD contract for the first 6 months, with the possibility to transition to CDI.
Requirements
- 5+ years of proven experience in B2B sales, business development, or customer development, preferably in energy, infrastructure, or technical industries
- Demonstrated track record of originating leads, managing pipelines, and closing deals with complex stakeholders (e.g., IPPs, utilities, engineering firms, public sector)
- Strong ability to structure and manage sales processes, including effective use of CRM systems and implementation of sales workflow automation
- Experience in preparing technical-commercial proposals and tender submissions
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical or engineering field (electrical, mechanical, energy, or similar)
- Fluent in English and French (written and spoken)
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Autonomous, structured, and results-oriented, with the ability to operate in a fast-paced startup environment
- Valid permit to work in France
