Technical Sales Engineer – Industry

• Analyze customer processes on site to identify issues related to clogging, dust accumulation, or material handling
• Design the appropriate solution and prepare project quotations, working with the engineering department and product managers
• Provide technical advice and help customers measure the ROI of their installation
• Prospect for new markets, customers, and local partners in the eastern region
• Schedule and conduct customer meetings
• Manage projects end to end: from quotation and order through on-site delivery support and post-installation follow-up
• Develop the eastern region, from the Ardennes to the Jura
• Diagnose customers’ industrial processes to design and sell the appropriate technical solution, then manage the project through commissioning

Requirements

• Advanced technical education at Master’s level (Bac+5): engineering degree or scientific/technical master’s degree, ideally in mechanical engineering
• Proven experience selling industrial solutions
• Strong technical background: ability to read and understand industrial processes, identify customers’ challenges, and design solutions that address them
• Working proficiency in English and confidence in a multicultural environment
• Patience and a long-term perspective
• Ideally based in or near Strasbourg
• Willingness to travel 3 to 4 days per week
• Ability to manage a project-based sales cycle from end to end

Demonstrates expertise in analyzing and diagnosing industrial processes to design and implement effective technical solutions, while managing project-based sales cycles from quotation to post-installation support. Proficient in engaging with customers to measure ROI and develop market opportunities in the eastern region.
