Responsibilities

  • Selling ABLATOM products and services.
  • Developing company revenue.
  • Identifying and prospecting new industrial clients, R&D centers, and laboratories in sectors such as metallurgy, recycling, energy, defense, geosciences, etc.
  • Understanding customers’ technical needs and proposing tailored solutions primarily based on LIBS technology.
  • Organizing and conducting demonstrations, on-site trials, and technical presentations.
  • Preparing technical and commercial proposals and monitoring projects through to delivery.
  • Preparing for and participating in trade fairs, conferences, and scientific events.
  • Proposing, deploying, and managing the international sales strategy.
  • Building, developing, and coordinating a network of business partners, representatives, and distributors outside France.
  • Increasing and strengthening the company’s visibility online and in the field.
  • Conducting technology and competitive market monitoring.
  • Working closely with the technical team and contributing to the company’s development and structuring.

Candidate Profile

  • Master’s degree (Bac +5 equivalent) in technical sales engineering, instrumentation, analytical chemistry, or materials science.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of elemental analysis principles: LIBS spectroscopy, scientific instrumentation, or related techniques (XRF, ICP, LA-ICP, etc.).
  • Knowledge of laboratory safety procedures and best practices.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
  • Proficiency in collaborative and communication tools (Internet, email, shared calendars, web conferencing, etc.).
  • Fluent English is essential – frequent travel in France and internationally expected.
  • Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent communication, training, and negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to adapt to change and handle emergency situations.
  • Ability to report activities clearly, concisely, and proactively.
  • Reliable, responsive, discreet, and professional.
