About Amatera

At Amatera, we are developing breakthrough technologies to accelerate plant breeding and create the next generation of climate-resilient crops.

As our scientific teams grow, we are looking for a Technical Project Manager to help build the operational foundations that enable great science.

You will own and continuously improve the operational environment that enables our scientists to execute projects efficiently while preserving knowledge, ensuring traceability, and providing clear visibility across the organization. Working directly with the CTO and alongside our scientific teams, you will play a central role in shaping how R&D is organized at Amatera.

Your mission

Your mission is to operate and continuously improve Amatera's R&D Operating System . Our Operating System connects company objectives, scientific projects, laboratory experiments, documentation and executive reporting into a single framework. Your role is to ensure this system remains reliable, intuitive and continuously evolves alongside our growing organization.

What you will do

  • Own and continuously improve Amatera's R&D Operating System, ensuring our projects, objectives and documentation remain structured, up to date and scalable.
  • Partner with scientific teams by attending project meetings, brainstorming sessions and troubleshooting workshops, translating discussions into actionable projects, milestones and decisions.
  • Drive operational excellence by anticipating operational risks (resources, timelines, equipment and dependencies), improving workflows and implementing automation that helps scientists spend less time on administration and more time doing science.
  • Build visibility through dashboards, KPIs, executive reporting and research grant reporting (EIC, BPI, etc.), ensuring leadership always has an accurate view of R&D activities.
  • Connect knowledge across projects, documentation and laboratory experiments, ensuring complete traceability and preserving scientific knowledge as the company grows.
