Technical Preparer

Overview

• Create, update and maintain manufacturing, inspection and traceability documentation.
• Develop work sequences, operating procedures and bills of materials, and distribute them to production teams.
• Provide technical support to production teams and handle questions/answers.
• Manage product changes, analyze deviations from specifications and participate in change review boards.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of production and industrialization processes.
• Act as the technical interface with internal departments and customers regarding modifications and returns after delivery.
• Coordinate technical activities among stakeholders and provide regular reporting.

Requirements

• Education: Bac+2/3 or Bac+5 in aeronautics or equivalent, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in technical preparation for electrical wiring.
• Technical preparation skills: analysis of customer specifications, configuration management, drafting technical instructions, and creating bills of materials and manufacturing sequences.
• Experience estimating product modification costs and a solid understanding of associated industrial processes.
• Project management skills and knowledge of manufacturing processes in the electrical wiring domain.
• Curiosity, willingness to learn and strong adaptability in a demanding environment.
• Rigor, autonomy, pragmatism and methodical approach with strong written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate within multisite, cross-functional and multicultural teams; fluent English required, Spanish is a plus.
