Technical Maintenance Manager

Your Contribution
The technical manager leads the team of project managers for existing and future projects, driving continuous improvement through operational excellence. The role ensures the optimisation of production tools by promoting preventive action via maintenance and tooling service, thus avoiding shopfloor breakdowns and the risk of non‑delivery to customers.
Location: Seboncourt, North of France
- Is a true leader of the department (task management, etc.).
- Guarantees the monitoring of maintenance and project budgets (R&D costs and tool costs).
- Defines processes with a view to manage them, monitoring and optimising performance indicators by performing root‑cause analysis of problems and implementing irreversible action plans.
- Is responsible for the proper application of 5S rules and HSE performance in his sector.
- Contributes, through systematic attention, to the site’s energy performance (e.g., turning off unnecessary lights).
Maintenance
- Optimises the duration of line shutdowns by tracking machines, production lines, or tools’ breakdowns and favouring preventive and/or predictive interventions.
Industrialization and Operational Excellence
- Ensures, for new projects, a "green" internal and external audit at first time, meeting required safety, environmental, quality, cost, and delivery indicators.
- Optimises required savings (PPI) and those concerning material and/or components used for manufacturing (IPCO technical), as part of performance lift.
Work Relationship
- Dialogue with all internal departments and external development services.
- Reports on activity to the Managing Director and ensures alert if needed.
- Maintenance Master’s degree or higher engineering qualification (mechanics).
- Language: French and English.
- Problem‑solving methods, project management, mechanics knowledge, budget management and IT tools necessary for the role.
- Relationship and team spirit, synthesis and rigorous sense required.
- Experience and/or knowledge of the automotive industry and plastic parts would be a plus.
