Technical Sales Representative
As a travelling technical sales representative, you will be responsible for organising and delivering training courses on the Service Solutions product range (workshop equipment) for professionals and making offers to our network of distributors. You will also participate in trade shows to promote products and represent the group.
Responsibilities
- Focus on the MAHLE and BrainBee workshop equipment ranges.
- Encourage the existing sales network, seek out new opportunities, and strengthen the group's presence in the field.
- Draft commercial offers in line with the market, respecting margins and in agreement with management.
- Provide technical support with live demonstrations to the distributor's sales team or at the workshop.
- Collaborate regularly with technical support in France, providing feedback to improve products.
- Contribute to installation of products at customer sites if necessary.
- Inform distributors on the use of products.
- Organise training sessions on the products, services and support offered by the group, both at customer sites and at the company's premises.
- Examine customer shortcomings and identify areas for improvement.
- Identify the right products for each customer and strengthen their confidence in the Group's products.
- Participate in trade shows.
- Monitor the activities of competing brands and report back to your manager.
- Protect the image of the company and the Group by identifying and reporting any malicious activities.
- Participate in the installation of products at customer sites if required.
Qualifications
- Dual technical and commercial skills required.
- Technical knowledge of the automotive sector and the workshop equipment and spare parts market is appreciated.
- This full‑time position requires availability for daily travel within your region.
- Excellent communication skills and a genuine sense of customer service.
- Known for being independent, thorough and a team player.
- You must live in the relevant region, i.e. south‑west or west France.
- Desirable skills: Technical knowledge of products, teaching skills for running training courses, proficiency in IT tools.
