Your mission

As a Technical Lead – Rigid Subsea Pipeline Design, you will be responsible for leading the engineering activities related to the design of rigid subsea pipelines on major offshore developments. You will be the technical focal point for pipeline design activities, ensuring the quality of engineering deliverables, compliance with international standards, and coordination of multidisciplinary teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and engineering activities related to rigid subsea pipeline systems.
• Coordinate engineering deliverables and ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
• Provide technical guidance and support to pipeline engineers and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Supervise pipeline routing studies and optimisation activities.
• Lead the design of subsea spools and jumpers.
• Perform and review pipeline analyses including walking, buckling, structural integrity assessment, installation and operational design verification.
• Ensure technical consistency across all pipeline‑related deliverables.
• Interface with project management, installation, structures, flow assurance, materials, and subsea disciplines.
• Support technical reviews, design decisions, and risk assessments.
• Ensure alignment between engineering activities, project schedule, and client requirements.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable international codes and offshore engineering standards.
• Participate in design reviews and lessons learned initiatives.
• Promote engineering best practices and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree or Engineering Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Offshore Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related discipline.
• Proven recent experience as a Lead or Senior Subsea Pipeline Engineer on offshore projects.
• Strong background in rigid subsea pipeline design, preferably on deepwater developments.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams and coordinating complex engineering packages.
• Strong expertise in spool and jumper design, walking and buckling assessment, offshore pipeline engineering standards and methodology.
• Solid understanding of subsea development projects and offshore installation constraints.
• Leadership and team coordination abilities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work autonomously in an international project environment.
• Analytical mindset and problem‑solving orientation.
