Operating with a high degree of autonomy under the supervision of the Engineering Manager, the successful consultant will spearhead technical design studies for major undisclosed deepwater target projects.
This role requires a senior technical expert capable of coordinating multidisciplinary engineering interfaces and ensuring all deliverables comply with strict international standards, project timelines, and corporate quality baselines.
Key responsibilities
- Advanced structural analyses: Lead and perform critical advanced analysis, focusing specifically on Lateral Buckling control strategies and mitigation of Pipeline Walking phenomena across multi-cycle operational thermal loads.
- Tie-in & connection design: Perform and coordinate the detailed structural design and flexibility analysis of subsea spools and jumpers , ensuring safe connections to subsea structures.
- Subsea pipeline routing: Define, optimize, and validate optimal pipeline routes on the seabed, accounting for complex geohazards and seabed topography.
- Multidisciplinary coordination: Serve as the main technical interface across engineering disciplines (structural, materials, geotechnical, installation) and coordinate the timely execution and delivery of engineering packages.
- Quality & compliance: Ensure absolute compliance of all notes of calculation, datasheets, drawings, and reports with international codes and standard project specifications.
