Overview

This role is part of the Digital & Guest Experience Tribe. The Feature Team develops data products used by the Digital Experience and Content teams, such as monitoring website performance, analyzing user journeys, scoring hotel listings and driving content quality.

Responsibilities

• Co‑lead the “Digital Experience” Feature Team (facilitation, prioritisation, planning, etc.)
• Build a strong partnership with the Product Owner
• Supervise four Data Engineers, ensuring monitoring and meeting deadlines
• Ensure implementation of best development practices (DevOps, Quality, FinOps, etc.)
• Contribute to scoping, breakdown and high‑level estimation of new projects
• Guide technical and modelling choices in line with Accor standards (Snowflake urbanisation, architectural patterns, etc.)
• Deliver Data products (Analytics & AI) in accordance with quality and deadline commitments
• Manage communication and resolution during incidents
• Keep line managers informed of risks or problems
• Participate in events organised at the Data or Engineering vertical level

Objectives

• Deliver enhancements to the strategic Content Scorecard initiative, in collaboration with the AI team
• Maintain a good distribution of skills and product expertise within the team to avoid reliance on a single individual
• Audit data products, formalise assessment of the current technical infrastructure and propose improvements (debt reduction, efficiency, FinOps, new features)
• Foster a positive team dynamic during the transition to the Tech Lead / Product Owner duo leading the Feature Team

Qualifications

• Solid experience in data engineering and team management
• Previous experience in Digital Marketing or demonstrated interest in the field

Technical Skills

• In‑depth knowledge of Snowflake features and analytical/BI modelling
• Experience with orchestration tools (Astronomer / Airflow) and transformation tools (dbt)
• Proficiency in SQL and Python
• Expertise in Tableau or other data visualisation solutions (PowerBI, Looker, etc.)
• Proficiency in AI and GenAI tools and platforms for optimisation of daily delivery
• Strong product culture and a flexible, pragmatic Agile approach
• Leadership with a dynamic mindset and ability to transform team practices (Peer Review, Testing, Run Management, FinOps, etc.)
• Ability to estimate, plan and monitor activities across projects and manage demanding stakeholders
• Professional demeanour and written/oral communication skills in French and English (fluency required)
