Systems Engineer – Hybrid Cloud & Infrastructure

Our client, a technology-driven industrial organization, is seeking an experienced professional to join their infrastructure team. The role focuses on managing a hybrid cloud environment across on-premise systems and Azure while ensuring the stability of critical middleware platforms for business operations.

• Administer and maintain on-premise infrastructure including VMware , Cisco networking, and Dell server and storage hardware.
• Manage the Office 365 ecosystem and endpoints using EntraID , Intune , and Autopilot .
• Collaborate with security teams to implement compliance policies using Palo Alto , Fortinet , Microsoft Defender , and Azure .
• Oversee enterprise backup, disaster recovery, and capacity planning through Veeam solutions.
• Support development teams by configuring and maintaining Jenkins , Jira , Confluence , and other SaaS applications.
• Provide level 1 and 2 user support while ensuring connectivity and security for remote international sites.

• 5+ years of experience in IT engineering, ideally within a technical or industrial SME environment.
• 5+ years of experience with virtualization and server management using VMware , Linux , and Dell hardware.
• Strong knowledge of Azure cloud services and endpoint administration via Intune and Autopilot .
• Practical experience with network security tools including Palo Alto , Fortinet , and Cisco .
• Proficiency in enterprise backup and recovery solutions with Veeam .
• Experience with CI/CD and collaboration tooling such as Jenkins and Atlassian (Jira , Confluence ).
• Familiarity with systems monitoring and patching using WSUS and standard supervision tools.
• Proactive and autonomous with strong project management skills in evolving contexts.
• You are fluent in French and English .
