Systems Engineer (f/m/d)

Responsibilities

• Support the engineering, deployment, operation, and optimisation of technology solutions for our customer platform, which are operated in various data centres (public clouds and co‑locations).
• Proactively ensure the highest availability of systems and infrastructure.
• Perform routine maintenance on the infrastructure of our SaaS solutions, including software releases, patching, and vulnerability scanning processes.
• Implement automations to enhance efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
• Commit to self‑development and learning to support innovative technologies and further your understanding of core operational principles.
• Support the company in the transition to innovative technologies.
• Work with our IT security and compliance team to ensure that Thinkproject adheres to industry‑leading security standards, maintaining compliance with our security accreditations.
• Actively participate in an on‑call and platform service, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues and managing escalations to other technical teams, senior management, or account managers.
• Produce accurate and detailed documentation of infrastructure configurations, processes and procedures.
• Participate in planning and executing the technical implementation of IT projects including risk management and reporting.
• Provide on‑site support for our physical data centre locations.

Qualifications

• English speaking.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to achieve common goals.
• Ability to communicate difficult or sensitive information tactfully.
• Proficient in time management and prioritization.
• Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high‑pressure environment and make sound decisions in emergency situations.
• Ability to self‑learn modern technologies with a can‑do attitude.
• Ability to challenge themselves and their work to ensure the right workload is in the right place, automating, simplifying, and standardizing where appropriate.
• Experience with Azure and Azure AD.
• Experience with Azure and AWS technologies and services.
