Semarchy is looking for a well-organized Product Owner to join its Product Success team. While this is a Product Ownership role, the scope is unique, blending deep technical work with transversal product management. Our team is composed of creative, motivated, and talented engineers who develop innovative applications for data management, data integration, and data governance. We are looking for someone who understands that a great application requires a rock-solid foundation and seamless common services. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience as a product owner in the B2B, SaaS, or technology space, a taste for building and promoting great products with high business value, and a strong technical aptitude.

About the Role

Semarchy has grown into an industry leader in the data management space. We are searching for a Product Owner to support our development teams by owning the backlog for our Platform Infrastructure as well as Cross-Module Shared Services. This role implies a split focus:

  • ~70% Infrastructure & DevOps: Driving the roadmap for Cloud Deployment, Kubernetes, and DevOps tooling.
  • ~30% Shared Services: Owning the functional definition of transversal features such as the Platform Welcome Page, Administration Console, and common tooling shared across all modules.

As the Product Owner for this domain, you will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation. You will work closely with Site Reliability Engineers (SREs), Cloud Architects, and Feature Teams to maximize the reliability, scalability, and usability of Semarchy’s Unified Data Platform.

Responsibilities

  • Roadmap & Backlog Management: Organize and prioritize the backlog, balancing the heavy focus on technical infrastructure (technical debt, security, scalability) with the functional evolution of shared platform services.
  • Infra/DevOps: Collaborate with R&D teams to define the SaaS and self-hosted infrastructure of our solutions. Define acceptance criteria for deployment features, ensuring rigorous standards for security and high availability.
  • Shared Services Ownership: Define requirements and specifications for the Platform Administration, Welcome Page, and other transversal tools. Ensure a consistent experience across different modules.
  • Specification Definition:
  • For Infrastructure: Translate high-level goals into technical workflows, API specifications, and deployment scenarios.
  • For Shared Services: Create functional specifications and work with UX/UI designers on interfaces for platform management.
  • Release Quality: Define acceptance criteria for both infrastructure capabilities and shared service features.
  • Documentation & Enablement: Help conceptualize and write technical documentation (installation guides) as well as functional guides for platform administrators.
  • Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the link between technical engineering teams and non-technical stakeholders, helping Support and Sales Engineering teams understand both deployment capabilities and platform administration features.
  • Champion the products to internal and external audiences, talking to customers, partners, and field personnel.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years as a product manager or product owner in the B2B, SaaS, or technology space with a solid portfolio.

Required Skills

  • Strong technical depth: Proven ability to understand and discuss technical concepts with engineers and architects. You must be comfortable working with topics such as:
  • SaaS Technologies: Multi-tenancy, cloud security, scalability.
  • Containerization & Orchestration: Concepts behind Docker and Kubernetes are essential.
  • Cloud Infrastructure: General knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP services.
  • DevOps Culture: Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Ansible).
  • Product Skills: Solid experience in backlog management, requirements gathering, and producing specifications.
  • Communication: Fluent in English and French (Mandatory). You must be able to translate technical complexities into clear business value.
  • Agility: Ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt to the fast-changing cloud ecosystem.
  • Experience or knowledge of data technologies (structured and unstructured), applications (ERP, CRM, etc), and cloud infrastructures (AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker).
