Systems and Network Administrator Technician

  • Support the Infrastructure Team Leader in their duties and act as a substitute in their absence
  • Help maintain the Metropolitan Authority’s IT environment in operational and secure condition
  • Propose and oversee necessary corrective or evolutionary maintenance operations
  • Ensure IT system availability and performance
  • Implement the IT Department’s cloud migration strategy
  • Manage local VMware virtualized servers and hypervisors: deployment, monitoring, and optimization
  • Monitor and optimize remote virtualized servers (Eolas) and hypervisors
  • Administer Microsoft 365 and Azure cloud environments: Entra ID, Intune policies, licenses, and services
  • Administer and maintain the network and telecommunications systems in operational condition
  • Manage Fortinet or equivalent firewalls: configuration, security rules, updates, and monitoring
  • Ensure the availability and management of critical services (AD, DNS, DHCP, file services, email, etc.)
  • Monitor and maintain server rooms
  • Manage and help resolve Level 2 and Level 3 system and server incidents
  • Support and contribute to the monitoring of performance indicators
  • Contribute to relationships with infrastructure service providers
  • Assist the Department Manager with hardware and software orders, oversee deliveries, and certify service completion
  • Update infrastructure procedures and document incidents, interventions, and configurations
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of processes
  • Collaborate with other IT Department teams
  • Contribute to the deployment of new applications or services into production
  • Participate in business, migration, virtualization, or automation projects
  • Monitor developments in operational tools and propose improvements
  • Test and validate new tools or scripts
  • Improve the reliability of and automate recurring tasks

Requirements

  • Administration of IT infrastructure: LAN/WLAN/WAN networks, servers, Active Directory, fixed-line and mobile telephony, videoconferencing, and printing infrastructure
  • Strong knowledge of networks and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, etc.)
  • Management of the Microsoft 365 environment: licenses, Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams
  • Knowledge of business applications and tools (e.g., Microsoft 365, Open CRM, Civil Net RH, PaperCut, Power BI, etc.)
  • Monitoring application operations with software vendors and managed service providers
  • IT and operational security: firewalls, antivirus/EDR, access rights management, backups, disaster recovery and business continuity plans
  • Monitoring and metrology
  • Scripting and automation (basic PowerShell, Bash, or Python skills)
  • ITIL methodology
