System Specialist

Responsibilities

• IT support, design and troubleshooting ranging from large Server, SAN farms to complex platforms;
• Configuration/Troubleshooting of Virtual environments: VMware v

  Sphere, v

  SAN, Horizon;
• Server management, Operating System (OS) knowledge (UNIX, Linux, Windows);
• Design, implementation and administration of backup and restore on solutions like VEEAM and StoreOnce;
• Administration of servers, bladesystems and composable infrastructure;
• Administration of Storage systems on traditional SAN, CEPH and VSAN;
• Managing OCP platform in DEVOPS mode with related supporting systems like Red Hat Service Mesh, Git

  Hub, Helm, Git

  Ops, Ansible Automation Platform, Kafka;
• Development, execution and troubleshooting of Ansible and Powershell scripts;
• PKI and certificate administration;
• Administration of monitoring systems like Nagios, Splunk;
• Administration of Oracle infrastructure, namely EXADATA and ZDRLA;
• Administration of mail servers and mail relays (postfix), anti-virus and anti-spam;

Requirements

• B2 level of English minimum. Any knowledge of French is an asset.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant education (master or equivalent) after the secondary school.
• Minimum 9 years of relevant professional experience.
• Knowledge and experience with HW management, racking, cabling, replacement, FW upgrades;
• HW/SW inventory and configuration management;
• Advanced knowledge and experience with VMWare (v

  Sphere, v

  SAN, Horizon);
• Knowledge and experience with managing Oracle HW;
• Knowledge and advanced experience in Redhat, Windo
• Active Directory (AD) / LDAP and Keycloak Management;
• Network Attached Storage (NAS) and distributed file systems;
• Centralized IT security policy management;
• Knowledge and experience in administration of servers, bladesystems and composable infrastructure;
• Knowledge and experience in administration of Backup & Storage systems (VEEAM, Store

  SAN, traditional SAN and CEPH);
• Advanced script development and troubleshooting skills (Ansible, Powershell);
• Experience in software compliance monitoring and enforcement;
• Advanced knowledge of OCP platform administration with supporting tools like Red Hat Service Mesh, Git

  Ops, Ansible Automation Platform, Kafka;
• Knowledge to support mail servers and mail relays (postfix), anti-virus and antispam;
• Basic knowledge on DB systems, MS SQL, Oracle and Elastic search;
• Knowledge and experience with monitoring and observability systems (configuration, customisation, further development), Prometheus, Grafana, ElasticSearch, Fluentd, Kibana, Jaeger, NAGIOS and Splunk;
• Excellent analysis and problem solving skills;
