Become part of the Electronic Solution Organization of Honeywell, located on customer site, focusing on the Honeywell Communication, Navigation and Surveillance (CNS) products.
We are looking for a new System Engineer team member, for this key role within on-site engineering organization, supporting and coordinating development programs with customers (Airbus), as well as working with our regional partners on European research programs. Main objectives are to facilitate business, programmatic and technical communication, endorse interface responsibilities between end customers and internal project teams. You will be the direct front end to the customer on systems life cycle development, supporting technically, from definition of product to certification, including design, laboratory, and flight-testing activities.
Travel within EU, US and/or internationally may be required - 10%.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for customer project coordination on avionic CNS portfolio
- Interact with Customer, capture need, requirement definition, analysis & decomposition
- Participate in project definition, planning phase, estimates and reporting
- Support internal teams on Systems design, integration, validation, certification phases
- Project oversight and Schedule responsibility
- Daily support to customer site activities
You Must Have
- Aeronautic background either from initial education or on-the-job experience
- Experience on at least one domain Communication, Navigation or Surveillance
- 2+ years’ experience as engineer or 5+ years on the job
- Customer relation experience
- Real time and aeronautic systems development lifecycle experience
- Regular use of Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook)
- Good communication capability including verbal and written communication as well as proven skills in preparing and delivering presentations
- Problem Solving: Finds effective solutions based on root causes; seeks diverse opinions
- Read, write, and speak French and English fluently
We Value
- Experience on Airbus Cockpit, and Surveillance systems
- Experience on RADAR, MMR, GNSS, EGWPS, RADIO products
- Experience on System testing on Simulator or benches
- Experience of system specifications and ability to capture customer requirements
- Experience in project and/or program management
- Experience in Electronic domain
- Knowledge of Airbus organization and standard (GRESS, ABDs …)
- Knowledge of DO178, DO254, DO160, ARP4754A
- Knowledge of Model based System Engineering development (MBSE)
- Good level of negotiation/interrelationship
- Autonomy, fast decision making, pragmatism, initiative, and team spirit
