Job Description

Location: Aimargues, France - near Montpellier (Occitanie region), with easy access to the Mediterranean coast and major transport hubs.

In your role as a Product and Process Implementation Engineer you will work as a Change Coordinator to efficiently deliver the circular pack transition at site level, helping the company to implement sustainable and circular packs across all its French sites and develop a vision for European markets.

Furthermore, you will manage day‑to‑day missions focused on pack sustainability, acting as a catalyst for change and initiating and driving workstreams to optimize cost‑to‑serve, supporting Mars as it becomes a more efficient, agile and lean company.

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Economics
• 3+ years of experience in Production or Supply Chain roles
• Knowledge of internal manufacturing and major business processes (FMCG experience a benefit)
• Significant change management experience
• Understanding of improvement tools such as Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with Senior Leaders and stakeholders
• Track record in leading step‑change initiatives and best‑practice roll‑outs
• Eagerness to analyze and maximally value creation
• Fluent in English

What will be your responsibilities?

Trial support reporting and continuous improvement:

• Lead and support trials, implementing technical improvements in line with the regional plan and factory production plan.
• Create local project dashboards, define KPIs, set targets, and provide periodic updates and analysis.
• Build action plans based on KPI deviations, measuring the efficiency of actions.
• Support the QFS team in addressing customer complaints related to circular packs.

Master data & system:

• Animate Master Data validation workflow at factory level.
• Ensure Master Data updates on demand planning, MPS, and matrix files.

Packaging material switch planning:

• Manage planning: build, communicate, revise the plan, and assess impacts.
• Perform risk assessment and facilitate decision making or escalation.
• Ensure compliance with rules and switching strategy.

Circular solution:

• Improve current pack waste disposal and define the path to circularity.
• Organize pack waste collection on the shop floor.
• Manage disposal or use of finished goods and packaging material leftovers according to company rules.

Effective communication:

• Build a strong communication plan to align with stakeholders.
