Supply Chain Lead
Job Purpose
As a member of the Site Leadership Team, you will lead Supply Chain and Logistics across the site, covering the full flow from raw material receipt through to finished goods distribution. In this role, you will ensure that supply operations are reliable, efficient, compliant, and aligned with GSK’s global Supply Chain network. You will optimize site capabilities, support business and financial objectives, and maintain the highest standards of Quality (GMP), Safety (EHS), and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end Supply Chain and Logistics operations on site, including planning, scheduling, procurement, warehousing, and physical flows from material receipt to finished goods distribution.
- Align site activities with global Supply Chain processes and governance, including S&OP/IBP, SRM, and CRM, acting as a key interface with the global network and external partners.
- Drive performance across service, OTIF, inventory, cost, and productivity through strong KPI management, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
- Ensure effective management of site capacity, resources, and material flows to secure product availability and meet customer commitments.
- Champion a strong Quality Culture, ensuring compliance with GMP/GxP requirements, regulatory standards, internal procedures, and audit and inspection readiness.
- Embed a proactive EHS culture, ensuring safety remains a core value and that risks are effectively identified, managed, and mitigated.
- Lead risk management and business continuity planning to protect supply, quality, safety, cost, and customer commitments.
- Define and deploy the Supply Chain strategy in line with site priorities and GSK global objectives, contributing actively to site leadership and decision‑making.
- Role model GSK values and leadership expectations by demonstrating integrity, accountability, inclusion, and a strong performance mindset.
- Lead, develop and engage teams; build capability, support talent development, and foster employee wellbeing.
- Manage the departmental budget and contribute to site financial performance through cost control and productivity improvements.
- Support New Product Introductions and strategic site projects, ensuring supply chain readiness and effective cross‑functional collaboration.
- Represent Supply Chain within the Site Leadership Team and act as a trusted partner internally and externally, promoting alignment across the organization.

People management (direct/indirect reports, etc.): Up to 10 direct and around 60 indirect reports
Assets managed: €20–30M
Business travel requirements: limited
Primary location: Saint‑Amand‑les‑Eaux (FR)

Basic Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 10 years in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or Logistics.
- Experience in pharmaceutical or highly regulated environments.
- Experience in managing large teams.
- Strong experience in budget management (>€5M).
- Experience in working in matrix and international environments.
- Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Fluency in English – written and spoken.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Manufacturing.
- Certifications: APICS, Lean Six Sigma (Black Belt), Change Management.
- Additional degree in leadership, management, or business – e.g. MBA, coaching.
- Strong leadership maturity and influencing skills.
- Ability to lead change through ambiguity and complexity.
- Strong accountability mindset.
- Advanced analytical and financial capabilities.
- Project management and continuous improvement (Lean, Six Sigma).
- Risk management and problem‑solving skills.
- Knowledge of GMP / EHS standards.
- Fluency in French – written and spoken.
Compensation
Salary range: EUR 90750 – per year (France). Additional annual bonus and long‑term incentive potential may be offered at the discretion of the role level.
