Responsibilities

• Design of Oil & Gas or industrial structural steel works including Pipe Racks, Process Structures, and Truss Structures.
• Execution of all structural calculations and preparation of related calculation notes.
• Definition of conceptual principles for primary and secondary steel frameworks and member sizing.
• Design of specific calculation cases such as bolted and/or welded connections and fatigue analysis.
• Coordination with the full project team and other disciplines.
• Participation in validation of drawings produced by designers or execution drawings issued by the fabricator.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Structural Steel Calculation Engineer.
• Knowledge of industrial facilities and task sequencing.
• Interface management upstream and downstream.
• Strict application of project procedures.
• Ability to work with project standards and specifications.
• Coordination with designers of adjacent areas.
• Continuous project follow-up.
• Autonomy, rigor, organization, and active communication.
• Full knowledge of Eurocodes.
• Understanding of technical English.

Education & Experience

• Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering or related field preferred.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications in structural engineering are advantageous.
• Experience in structural steel design and calculations.
