Strategy Transformation Consultant – Internship Program

Location: Paris 8ème
Join Alvarez & Marsal’s Corporate Transformation team in Paris, where you will contribute to large‑scale strategic transformations across industries such as retail, banking, food, and more. You will work closely with senior leaders, gain exposure to multi‑sector projects, and develop skills in a fast‑paced, high‑impact environment.
How You Will Contribute
- Strategic Research and Analysis: structure and conduct essential strategic research and market analysis to support client projects.
- Operational Transformation: assist in implementing operational improvements and driving measurable results.
- Client Engagement: support senior management in preparing client pitches and presentations, contributing to impactful interactions.
- Commercial Activity: manage intelligence on forthcoming deals and prepare points‑of‑view documents on potential targets.
- Cross‑Border Collaboration: work on projects across Europe (UK, Germany, Netherlands, Sweden, etc.) gaining exposure to international initiatives.
Qualifications
- Currently studying at a leading “Grande École” in Business and/or Engineering, or equivalent.
- At least 6 months of previous internship experience.
- Strong Excel skills, including a solid understanding of accounting/finance and the ability to distill large amounts of data into a simple format (e.g., pivot tables).
- Proficiency in Word and PowerPoint.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Fluent business‑level English and French are mandatory. Additional European language skills (Dutch, German, Italian, or Spanish) highly desirable.
