Strategic IT Transformation & Governance Leader
Role Purpose
The Head of IT Transformation and Governance is accountable for defining, enabling, and continuously improving the governance, performance, financial transparency, and structural efficiency of the IT function. The role coordinates alignment between business strategy and IT execution, establishes clear decision‑making frameworks, and supports regulatory compliance (GDPR, NIS2, AI Act, etc.), cost control and valued delivery across the Group.
He operates under the authority and guidance of the Group IT & Digital Director and in close coordination with the operational managers of the Corporate IT Department, the Director of IT Services and Digital Support (ISDS), the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), and the Head of Data, Analytics and AI.
Key Missions and Responsibilities
Service Strategy & Service Management
- Drive continuous improvement and support the strategic vision for services
- Support and maintain the Group IT service catalog and service portfolio
- Drive innovation within the Corporate IT department
- Manage internal IT communications
Architecture & Standards
- Validate as design authority the architecture proposed within the context of projects.
- Build and maintain the target IS map, structure the IS by defining architectural standards, and ensure technical and functional consistency.
IT Governance
- Define and operate IT governance frameworks and decision‑making processes at group level
Portfolio & PMO
- Manage IT demand management and the portfolio of projects, prioritise according to business value, monitor progress of projects, and structure project governance.
Methods, Processes, Quality & Continuous Improvement
- Deploy IT methods, standards and processes (ITIL, ISO), monitor the quality and operational performance of the Corporate IT department through continuous process improvement.
- Promote quality, efficiency, and industrialisation of IT execution
IT Performance & Compliance
- Drive the overall performance of the IT department.
- Define and manage IT performance dashboards and KPIs.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and risk mitigation.
Green IT
- Promote a responsible digital approach within the Corporate IT department and ensure the reduction of the environmental footprint of the technologies used.
Vendor & Sourcing Management
- Oversee the Corporate IT department's technology sourcing and procurement.
- Prepare and manage contract negotiations and renegotiations.
- Implement supplier relationship management and contract governance.
- Participate in the communication, sharing, and promotion of Group contracts to subsidiaries.
IT Finance (Run and Build)
- Ensure the financial management of the Corporate IT department: development and monitoring of the IT budget, cost control, investment monitoring and financial reporting.
- Drive cost optimization initiatives.
Votre profil
Education:
- Master's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent.
Experience:
- Minimum 12-15 years of experience in IT roles, including senior leadership positions.
- Proven experience in IT governance, portfolio management, performance management, and financial control.
- Experience in large, complex, and multi‑entity organizations is required.
Key Skills and Competencies
- Strong expertise in IT governance frameworks (COBIT, ITIL, Lean IT).
- Solid understanding of enterprise architecture and technology standards.
- Advanced skills in portfolio, financial, and vendor management.
- Excellent executive communication.
- Strong leadership, analytical mindset, and decision‑making capabilities.

This role enables the IT and Executive Management to rely on a structured, transparent, and high‑performing IT function. It strengthens control, compliance, cost efficiency, and value creation while supporting sustainable digital transformation.
