Strategic Finance Specialist | Remote

Position: Transaction Structuring Expert

Type: Part-time, Hourly contract

Compensation: $140–$240/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Build and refine advanced transaction models including dividend recapitalizations, pro forma leverage, and earnout structures.
• Lead rigorous due diligence efforts such as dataroom analysis, working capital normalization, and cohort-level financial reviews.
• Support capital markets decision-making through debt capacity analysis and leverage modeling.
• Advise on and execute bespoke transactions including spin-offs, carve-outs, and intellectual property licensing arrangements.
• Partner with cross-functional deal teams to provide actionable insights throughout transaction structuring and execution.
• Communicate complex transaction mechanics and recommendations through clear, concise written and verbal deliverables.
• Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and strategic alignment across all transaction outputs.

Requirements

• Proven experience at tier-one investment banks, buy-side firms, or corporate development teams at major institutions.
• Deep expertise in advanced deal and transaction modeling.
• Strong track record in financial due diligence and detailed analytical teardown.
• Solid exposure to capital markets, particularly debt financing and leverage strategy.
• Experience executing bespoke or complex transactions such as carve-outs, IP licensing, or spin-offs.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail.
• Self-directed and effective in remote, fast-paced environments.
