SRE

Job Summary

As an SRE in the VeepeeTech Distribution Channels team, you will maintain the infrastructure for the front services of Veepee websites and mobile applications, ensuring high reliability and scalability through DevOps practices. You will collaborate with agile product teams and the broader SRE community to deploy, operate, and evolve production systems.

Responsibilities

• Implement tools and processes for deployment and industrialization (CI/CD, blue/green, canary, rollback, etc.)
• Automate provisioning of resilient infrastructure to meet product needs
• Work with development teams to facilitate regular releases
• Maintain services in operational condition, analyze and resolve performance and scalability anomalies (load tests) for current and historic deployments
• Participate in infrastructure evolution (VMware → KVM migration) and reduce technical debt
• Advocate and enforce DevOps best practices within the transverse SRE community

Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar SRE or DevOps role
• Experience managing or contributing to production environments with high uptime (99.9%+) and public-facing services
• Solid understanding of Linux system administration and networking fundamentals; knowledge of Windows is a plus
• Proficiency with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible)
• Experience with load balancing and reverse proxy concepts (Haproxy, Traefik)
• Monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, ELK, Grafana)
• Experience with container orchestration (Nomad, Kubernetes)
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, Cassandra, MongoDB)
• Strong written and spoken English skills
• Knowledge of .NET, Python or Go, and Cloudflare CDN a plus
