Candela develops products for the global aesthetic market. These products begin as concepts developed by Candela’s world‑class team of scientists and engineers or as acquired or licensed technologies that Candela then completes the development and/or commercialization of. These programs are supported by Candela’s global clinical, regulatory, and quality teams and are managed through our Product Development Process (PDP) and Quality Management System (QMS).

The Company’s headquarters are in Marlborough, Massachusetts, U.S., with an additional R&D facility in Yokneam, Israel and commercial locations across Asia Pacific, and Europe. Products are sold direct in 18 countries worldwide and through distributors in over 60 others and are supported by field service, clinical education, marketing development organizations and distributorship arrangements.

General Summary

The Senior Marketing Manager France is accountable for defining and executing the local marketing strategy for the aesthetic medical device portfolio, in alignment with global and EMEA priorities. The role focuses on generating qualified demand, strengthening brand positioning and directly contributing to revenue growth.

The position drives integrated, multi‑channel marketing programs across digital, events and peer‑to‑peer education to acquire new customers, increase product adoption and support sales pipeline performance. Marketing activities are expected to deliver measurable impact through clear KPIs such as lead generation, conversion and ROI.

The role is in close partnership with Sales and EMEA teams to ensure strong alignment between commercial priorities and marketing execution. The position contributes to EMEA marketing initiatives (approximately 20–30% scope), supporting product launches, regional campaigns and sharing local market insights to optimize performance across the region.

The Senior Marketing Manager directly manages the France Marketing Coordinator, setting clear priorities and performance expectations, ensuring high‑quality execution and supporting capability development.

This position requires a data‑driven and results‑oriented professional able to combine strategic thinking with hands‑on execution in a fast‑paced and performance‑focused environment.

Essential Job Functions

  • Define and execute the annual France marketing strategy and tactical plan aligned with global and EMEA priorities, with clear accountability for pipeline generation, customer acquisition and revenue contribution.
  • Own and optimize the local marketing budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation and strong ROI across demand generation, product marketing and brand initiatives.
  • Drive integrated omnichannel marketing programs (digital marketing, events, webinars, congresses, medical education) to increase brand awareness, generate qualified leads and accelerate product adoption in the aesthetic medical device market.
  • Develop lead generation and practice development initiatives enabling healthcare providers (dermatologists, plastic surgeons, aesthetic physicians, clinics) to activate and grow their patient base.
  • Partner closely with Sales leadership to align marketing plans with commercial priorities and ensure strong impact on pipeline performance, conversion and customer retention.
  • Define and execute KOL engagement strategy, building strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders to support peer‑to‑peer education, advocacy and clinical credibility.
  • Lead local go‑to‑market execution for product launches and lifecycle marketing initiatives, ensuring strong alignment with EMEA strategy and local market needs.
  • Generate customer, competitor and market insights to refine segmentation, targeting and positioning, strengthening competitive differentiation.
  • Define and monitor KPIs (lead generation, conversion rates, cost per lead, campaign performance, ROI), using data insights to continuously optimize marketing effectiveness.
  • Oversee digital marketing performance (CRM, marketing automation, social media, webinars), ensuring continuous optimization based on measurable outcomes.
  • Directly manage the France Marketing Coordinator, setting clear priorities, ensuring high‑quality execution and supporting capability development.
  • Contribute to EMEA marketing initiatives (approx. 20–30% of scope), supporting localization and rollout of regional campaigns, product launches and strategic programs.

Knowledge/Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of marketing experience, including significant experience in medical device, aesthetic medicine, dermatology, capital equipment, healthcare B2B or professional beauty (B2B) environments.
  • Proven track record of driving demand generation, lead generation and revenue impact through omnichannel marketing programs.
  • Strong experience in product marketing, go‑to‑market strategy and product launch execution in a regulated environment.
  • Demonstrated success working closely with Sales teams to support pipeline growth, customer acquisition and market development.
  • Solid expertise in digital marketing, CRM (Salesforce) and marketing automation tools to track performance and optimize conversion.
  • Experience engaging and managing Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), organizing medical education programs, workshops, clinical trainings or scientific events.
  • Experience working in international and matrix organizations, with exposure to EMEA or global marketing teams.
  • Ability to combine strategic thinking with hands‑on execution in fast‑paced and performance‑driven environments.
  • Strong project management skills, with ability to manage multiple priorities, agencies and stakeholders.
  • Experience managing or mentoring junior team members.
  • Fluent French and English required.
