Overview
We are looking for a Regional Marketing Manager Microbiology (FAST) - EMEA who will work and grow within the Clinical Operations department.
The position is offered under an open-ended contract and may be based in any EMEA country where bioMérieux operates, with an expected travel requirement of approximately 20–30% across the region.
Responsibilities
You support the development and execution of the EMEA marketing strategy for the Microbiology Fast solutions (VITEK REVEAL, BACT/ALERT VIRTUO, VITEK MS PRIME, BIOFIRE BCID2). Operating under the guidance of the Regional Franchise Lead Microbiology, you ensure local market activation, cross-cluster coordination, and continuous insight flow between the field, regional leadership, and Global Product & Market Management.
You translate global strategic intent into actionable regional programs, optimize Fast Microbiology portfolio performance, enable effective launches, and support countries in driving commercial impact across a diverse EMEA region.
Your main missions will be the following:
Regional Strategy & Planning
- Implement regional Fast Microbiology marketing initiatives aligned with franchise priorities.
- Adapt global frameworks and content to EMEA needs; ensure clarity and relevance for cluster and country teams.
- Consolidate market feedback, competitive intelligence, customer insights; feed into regional plans and LCM inputs.
- Support business reviews, annual planning, and market prioritization for Fast Microbiology.
Launch Management
- Coordinate regional launch execution and readiness (messaging, tools) in line with Launch Excellence.
- Track activation metrics and business performance; assess risks, propose corrective actions.
- Maintain pipeline visibility and support lifecycle management.
Global & Local Collaboration
- Act as liaison between Global Product & Market Management and cluster/country marketing teams.
- Ensure consistent use of messaging, positioning, value propositions, and clinical evidence.
- Facilitate best-practice sharing (communities of practice).
Operational Effectiveness
- Support creation/localization of assets and campaigns by Global/Regional/Local MarCom.
- Monitor usage and impact of materials; prepare presentations, dashboards, and reviews.
Drive & Management by Influence
- Collaborate across clinical, medical, market access, sales excellence, and commercial operations.
- Build trust-based relationships across clusters; drive alignment without direct authority.
Qualifications
- You hold a Master’s degree in Marketing, Life Sciences, Business, or a related discipline.
- You bring 3–5 years of marketing experience within the IVD sector, ideally with exposure to Microbiology diagnostics, ID&AST market (incl. Fast AST), customer needs and trends knowledge.
- Experience in internationally distributed or cross‑country roles is considered an asset.
- You demonstrate strong marketing execution capabilities, coupled with solid analytical skills and business acumen.
- You thrive in a matrix organization and excel at driving cross‑functional collaboration.
- You possess excellent communication abilities and proven project management skills.
- You are fluent in English, with additional European languages viewed as an advantage.
- You are willing to travel across the EMEA region (approximately 20–30%).
