Heavy Equipment Mechanic (Mobile Unit or Shop) – Day Shift

Responsibilities

• Perform general and preventive maintenance on heavy-duty vehicles at various client yards or on the road
• Conduct diagnostics and repairs on different units
• Carry out repairs according to established requirements and standards
• Complete inspection reports and work orders
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Requirements

• Must reside in Quebec (mandatory)
• DEP (Vocational Diploma) in Heavy-Duty Vehicle Mechanics or equivalent experience
• Valid PEP card (truck or trailer) (optional)
• Must have personal toolbox and tools
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable, punctual, autonomous, and proactive
• Ability to understand and read electrical schematics
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in heavy-duty vehicle mechanics

Assets

• Knowledge of air conditioning (A/C) systems
• Knowledge of DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) systems
• Class 1 driver’s license

Working Conditions

• $35.00/hour and up (based on experience)
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (flexible)
• Shift: Day
