Role Summary
Join to apply for the Solutions Consultant role at CO2 AI . In this position, you will support the scale-up of our market by providing expertise and working with our sales team across all new business. You will act as a trusted expert for new and existing clients, helping them advance their decarbonization journey through sustainability knowledge, case studies, and industry‑specific content.
Responsibilities
- Work with our Account Executives on new business by being the preferred expert advisor, from discovery to preparing workshops and presentations
- Client‑facing solutions: understand client needs and present a coherent set of solutions, whether technical (our software platform) or advisory workshops
- Run proofs of concept (POCs) showcasing the capabilities of the CO2 AI sustainability platform
- Contribute to upsells by guiding existing clients through advisory steps and workshops to sell additional platform modules
- Prepare custom demos and run pilots for clients
- Collaborate with sales and product teams to answer RFPs
- Identify the best abatement levers to enable customers to reduce their carbon footprints, and implement them within the software
- Represent the voice of your customer within the Revenue Acceleration team
Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in presales, advisory, or consulting with the ability to listen to customer requirements and propose solutions across software and advisory services
- Strong ability to build rapport and deliver impactful client conversations
- Technical background: comfortable presenting software solutions and analyzing diverse data sets; proficiency in Excel is mandatory; coding skills (Python, Apps Script) are a plus
- Background or strong interest in sustainability is an advantage, especially experience with carbon accounting, GHG protocol, and emission factor knowledge
- Fluent in English
- Passion for climate challenges and willingness to make a change
- Dedication to teamwork and getting results together
- Ability to adapt to fast‑moving, early‑stage startup environments
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
Location
Role based in central Paris (France) with a flexible remote‑work policy.
Team
You will report to the Sustainability Acceleration Director and work closely with the Customer Success, sales, product, and engineering teams.
