Software Engineer in Test (QA automation)

Responsibilities

• Working closely with product and development teams to continuously test the latest product features
• Supporting development teams as co‑owners of the tests related to their features and driving their adoption
• Implementing and maintaining automated tests (end‑to‑end, performance, etc.)
• Owning the integration of the tests in the continuous deployment pipeline
• Implementing custom tools
• Documenting detailed and precise bug reports

Qualifications

We are looking for a highly technical engineer who can offer innovative solutions to improve test efficiency. Candidates should meet at least 70% of the following criteria:

• Fluency in English
• 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance Engineering
• Proficiency using a modern end‑to‑end test framework such as Playwright or Cypress
• Proven ability to write and help developers define bugs
• Significant experience implementing and maintaining CI jobs (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, CircleCI, etc.)
• Experience on a web‑based SaaS product deployed in Continuous Deployment
• Strong communication skills to drive best practices and articulate the testing framework

Additional skills that strengthen your application (but not required):

• Experience with performance tests
• Programming language proficiency in TypeScript or Python
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud or Azure
• Fluency in French
