Software Developer Internship

Overview

Amex GBT is looking for a Software Development Intern to join the Transportation team.

Responsibilities

• Develop a tool to manage the inventory of train stations, automating updates from suppliers.
• Investigate the needs and expectations for the train station management tool.
• Research and evaluate available technologies and frameworks.
• Participate in an Agile project, attending all ceremonies and collaborating with the team.
• Produce quality code, including automated and unit tests, and documentation.
• Integrate with the Rail teams to improve the business travel experience.

• Micro‑services (AWS + Kubernetes)
• Backend: Java/Kotlin, Spring, MongoDB, REST, AWS, Docker, Jenkins, Git, Cucumber
• Frontend: React, Handlebars, Backbone
