We are searching for an experienced Social media marketing and event Manager at our Jouy-en-Josas facility. 
Primary Duties and Responsibilities: 

Within the Development Department for Degree Programs – Pre-experience (GE, Master, Summer, Bachelor) and MBAs (MBA, EMBA), you will play a key role in designing and implementing the Social Media Marketing strategy and managing events for the programs.

Main Responsibilities

In this role, you will lead:

  • The Social Media Marketing strategy (content strategy, post and video production, community management, editorial calendar management) for the programs under your responsibility.
  • The planning and organization of events aimed at promoting all Pre-experience and MBA programs.

Your Main Objective

On social media, your goal will be to grow the audience and visibility of the programs by creating creative and impactful content to attract top students from around the world. You will regularly collaborate with students to produce content that reflects the heart of the programs.

For events, exemplary organization and management are expected, with attention to detail, hospitality, and ease in engaging with your target audience in both French and English. You will embody the image of HEC Paris as a Brand Ambassador to prospects, students, and alumni. You must be flexible with your schedule to attend all events you organize, whether in the morning or evening (at least twice a month).

To achieve this, you will work closely with the academic departments of the programs and maintain constant interaction with students and members of the Marketing, Sales, and Admissions teams.

Responsibilities

SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGEMENT

  • Define and lead the social media content strategy for Pre-experience programs.
  • Design, write, and publish engaging content on social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube…).
  • Produce videos and innovative formats showcasing students, campus life, and academic highlights.
  • Manage the editorial calendar, monitor performance, and grow the community.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with the digital marketing team to ensure consistency and effectiveness between organic content and paid campaigns.
  • Conduct competitive and industry monitoring to inform the content strategy.
  • Coordinate messaging with the Communications Department.
  • Work with student ambassadors throughout the year to develop authentic and creative content.
  • Contribute to the SEO strategy (keywords, program page optimization).


EVENT MANAGEMENT

  • Organize and coordinate recruitment and promotional events for the programs: open days, campus visits, webinars, information sessions, networking events, etc.
  • Manage all logistical and operational aspects: scheduling, communication, invitations, presentations, catering, venues, visual materials, budget compliance, etc.
  • Collaborate with Recruitment, Marketing, Sales, and Admissions teams to ensure message consistency and action effectiveness.
  • Involve student and alumni ambassadors to promote the programs (testimonials, photos, videos, interviews).
  • Represent HEC Paris at events, fairs, or communication operations, embodying the excellence of the brand.

You may also be involved in other marketing projects depending on the department's needs.

Required Qualifications:

Required Skills

  • Proactive, dynamic, and creative, you are highly organized, possess excellent interpersonal skills, and have bilingual-level writing abilities in French and English.
  • You are curious, a team player, and comfortable with new technologies.
  • You can manage multiple projects simultaneously in a demanding and international environment.

Profile

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree (Bac+3) in Marketing, Communication, or Event Management.
  • Proven experience in community management and/or content marketing.
  • Strong writing and communication skills in both French and English (oral and written tests will be part of the interview process).
  • Proficiency in key digital communication tools: Meta, LinkedIn, YouTube, Canva Pro, scheduling tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, etc.), and analytics.
  • Basic knowledge of SEO / web marketing.
  • Skills in graphic design and video editing.
  • Creative mindset, organized, curious, results-oriented, and team-oriented.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce is a plus.
